Beef OR FELIX??

DownP 21st Dec - 12:05 2m2f Mdn Hrd Felix Yonger Trade- 1.15-1.16 Could drift out to 1.30- IR could touch 1.65

Made my blood boil this morning when I saw the price of Felix, It really did boil over when I saw that the racing press pundits think this is going to be a walk in the park for Felix, I for one think he can be beaten, GOING GOING GOING-  No I’m not going to say Gone, It’s the going that could be Felixs under doing, Look at his most recent run you will see that he really was not happy on the soft ground. His RPR is 131  his SF reads 31 massive gulf,All 4 runs to date have been on none undulating tracks, This is his first run on such a track,

The Opposition to him looks very weak in fact you wonder why the rest are turning up,That is bar BEEF TO THE HEELS who I feel could beat Felix, Beefs trainer as a very strong form line through Bold Optimist who beat my selection over 2L(NHF), Beefs form looks very moderate compared to that of Felix. What makes it look Moderate? Well without sounding brash it’s the 75% of punters who have not bothered to educate them self’s in the art of form reading, because if they had my selection would not be priced at the price it is.

The two runs that my selection as had to date under rules(Forget about PTP form) I feel should be ignored, Both runs I feel were over further than ideal, For his first run we should assume that maybe he was not race fit.

13 Nov 2011 over 2m4f- Led and disputed, narrowly headed 4 out, ridden in 3rd 2 out, no extra before last, kept on one pace- THE COMMENT KEPT ON COULD BE MISLEADING, ON ONE HAND YOU ARE LEAD TO BELIF THAT THE TRIP STREACHED HIS STAMINA THEN YOU SEE KEPT ON, THIS COULD CONDRIDICET THE NO EXTRA COMMENT, MY VIEW IS HE KEPT ON IN ORDER TO FINSH THE RACE

26Oct11- Came into the race after a lengthy lay off-over 2m6f- Chased leaders, 6th halfway, headway into 4th 3 out, ridden in 5th entering straight, no extra and kept on- one pace- HE HAD TO KEEP ON TO FINSH THE RACE

Today Beef takes a drop in trip which I feel will suite, because I feel he will be able to utilize his stamina on the prevailing heavy round, Beef as quite a few entries (5) His trainer could have given him a easier option, This fact alone gives me confidence that my selection will have a big fight on his hands. I also note that both of beefs runs have been what I would class as extreme undulating tracks which may have not suited because of his size, I know DP as undulations but only for a mile or so, the stiff uphill Finish could benefit Beef more than it would Felix
