12:20 Uttoxeter THU 24 NOV 2011 HAYJACK Trade/Lay- 2.08.2.10
Hayjack should and is not a 11/10chance, Viewing the replays of all his races to date I have concluded that he will be better suited by further, He really does look like a horse who would rather not be at the race course, A bit like when you take your kids to the park because you feel like they could do with the fresh air, But after a few minutes the kids start to sulk and start kicking the autumn leaves, The straw that broke the camel’s came about when along with the leaves they add to the mix some dog Bleep- It’s here you kick the ball at them and say enough is enough, Praise the Lord when you get them home they are transformed into happy kids. If you view the replays of my selections you will notice that his ears are mostly pricked backwards, a sure sign that he really is not in love with the game, you will notice that he displays more movement in his ears on soft ground.
The Bookmakers/layers are really taking the double bleep- by pricing this horse at very prohibitive odds this morning, In nearly all his after race analyse the comment- big jumping type is likely to come into his own granted a longer trip and obstacles in any event 03Jan11 Race he won.
Most recent comment-Bumper winner Hayjack, from a stable in red-hot form, picked up well to challenge andlooked a big threat after three out, but the winner just stayed on the stronger. This was a promising start and he should pick up a similar race over further.
In his most recent race over the obstacles I noticed that he looked very scared of the hurdles, there was no real rhythm to his jumping, also I noticed that his SF took a big dip on soft ground. The market sentiment will not look if his ears were up or down, the market I feel will focus more on the trip, It will also take into account that there are ex flat horse coming into the race who will have that speed edge over my selection, If my assumption is correct then I can see him drifting out to around 2.38-2.60, If you do get a good green book then take it like a child takes a early Christmas present from Santa.
