2 year old first time out races are the most difficult races to work out; today I am opposing my selection not on a hunch or lay it and hope for the best, No my selection is based on sound logic.
AMENIXA: The dam of my selection last had winner way back With Zinziberine way back in 2002,If you look at the record of her most recent siblings you will see that they ran over 8f-1m2f,Amenixa blood line is more renowned for producing show jumpers rather than thoroughbreds, Brandymixa one of her off spring was Purchased for 95,000 EUR now a 9 year old never stepped foot on race track, Janadil was purchased for 78,000 GNS sadly he died at the age of 3, I would not place too much empathise on the E260,000 purchases price of my selection
American horse racing we know is geared around Speed, What we must look for is a horse with a good American Blood Line, DOROTHY PARKER (Love the name) a 16-1 shot as American Influence All the way which should be seen as a positive.
DYLANBARU: Runs in a tongue tie for its race course debut, Most punters will be put off, But there is a more positive side to this, I would be encouraged by the fact that the trainer has given Dylanbaru close attention so early in the season hence the application of the tt.

The Curragh is a right-handed horseshoe shaped course with a circuit of two miles with no sharp bends and a straight run in of three furlongs uphill. The Uphill finish will be a real test for these 2 year olds, J P O'Brien we know is a very able Jockey, There was a time last year where he was thinking about becoming a Jumps Jockey (Because of his height), I think with him been a tall Jockey he will find it difficult to balance his mount (Especially first time starter), His recorded over sprint distances is not that impressive.
