I was working on the race below but the meetings been called off, Falcons Reign is the selection, I know what you are thinking, Don’t forget I taught David Blaine everything he knows, I would ask you not to let the price strike fear into your mind, The concept of losing is what gives definition existaence, and meaning to the concept winning. It is embedded in us right from child hood that the goal is to win, no matter if it’s a football match or netball the goal is to win, You will find this hard to believe, There was a period in my life that I actually got bored with winning, It seemed all too easy, and you know what I got bored, Nothing seemed a challenge it was like taking candy off a kid, Most punters tend to choose the path of least resistance, They look for the easy, comfortable situations, but you know staying comfortable doesn’t generate long term profits. I have always believed that sometimes we must flee our comfort zone and plunge headfirst into uncomfortable situations, I know that when you face strong resistance it causes pain discomfort, The market for the 4.05 is that resistance I know you are feeling discomfort the market is telling you that this horse will not lose, It’s also telling you that the bigger priced horse like ROMAN FLAME will not win, So let’s move on and look at look at the facts that the market makers are not telling you or they think you will not pick up because they see you as MUG PUNTERS
First and foremost what you must keep in mind is the fact that my selection as only just turned 3,As a 2 y.o a horse is physically immature bit like Norbert, At 3 maturity begins, a bit like a teenager becoming a more sensible teenager, Its only when a horse reaches the age of 4 that he is considered to be reaching its physical peak, at this point a4 y.o is considered to be at its prime a bit like me. At 5 a horse is considered to be fully matured (Bit like Mr Masters!) at this stage there is unlikely to be further physical development which could help him/ her in their racing career (Sorry Mr Masters!)
In the 4.05 there are 3, 4 y.o( Glad there wasn’t 4 right tongue twister) I think the winner will come from that age group, Roman Flame would be a strong contender,Her record of, 22-0 makes you feel that discomfort that I eluded on earlier, However when you look at her 3 year form and then take into context today’s race then that discomfort should be eased, But for those who suffer from piles it’s going to take that little bit longer.
Romans best form to date is in fact when she was a 2.yo, 15Oct10 Roman Finished 3rd in an 8k race, The horse that beat him that day runs off a mark of 88,(Current Mark) Roman mark that day was 78
. 30 Jan 2011 Kempton: This I feel was his best form, only beaten ½ by the 4 year old Dazzled (Keep in mind Roman aged 3)
BARRISTERS BRIEF: Another 4 y.o who has run in NHF races, Those without any sort of imagination will say move on, When I saw that he had run in NHF races, The first thing that sprung to mind was that he could be physically too strong for my selection who you know is a 3 y.o.
At the end of the day I don’t feel that finishing 3rd in a 9 runner race warrants my selection been the price he is, Not paying any attention to the fact Roedean has won 4 races (Finished 3rd to her) Let me ask you one question which might turn into 2 or 3, Do you have proof that my selection is mature enough to beat a 4 y.o?

Racing post Comment: THE TRACEY SHUFFLE was beaten at odds-on when making his hurdles debut last month but that form was shown in a much better light when the winner followed up in good style soon afterwards and he can go one better today.
I have gone to the trouble of highlighting the form of the horse that beat him; Red Highlight is the French form, you will see that he gets well stuffed in good class races in France, The next Horse in the spot light is TANERKO EMERY
