You will not find a better example than this in regards to a over bet, over Hyped, Over Tipped horse than Derivates, The Form book is crying out telling us that this trip is on the Sharpe side, The fundamental factor as been ignored by most.
Today Derivatives is running on a surface which is on par with soft ground on the flat, Her best form to date is on fast ground- Running comment of her run on the 29th December -Disputed lead to 2f out, lost 2nd 1f out, well outpaced after- The comment does not stop at outpaced but states well outpaced.
Pale Orchid  plays a very important part in my form analyse, She beaten  Derivates and MAGILINI both on level weights, She beat Derivates when the above comment was applied(Well outpaced)Magilini on the other hand did manage to lead at some point-Led until over 2f out, chased clear winner but well held from over 1f out- Keep in mind that race was over 5f, Magilini would not have had the luxury that Derivates had over 6F,
MAYFORDE JACK: As a interesting pedigree- Third foal; dam won four times around 1m, inc on Fibresand, half-sisthr to 1m2f-1m4f AW winner Smokey The Bear and 8.6f 2yo AW selling winner Noble Edge out of 1m AW winner- Aw is mentioned 3 times in his Pedigree description, Another positive to take out from the description is the fact that he is third foal just like my selection.
I am of the opinion that from its current mark my selection should drift out to 1.65-1.80, the cause of the drift could be that Magilini could come in for support when more like minded people like me use the trip factor along with Pale Orchid
